Thank goodness for……

Last years archives.

Sparrowhawk. He flew over the garden one day last August.

A fly past by a Heron. Not in the garden; but last October

A dew covered web last September.

Rose hips at the local lake edge. That was last August.

And I'll go out with a Mallard in the early morning mist. Another from last August.

I really must try and get out soon.

Have a good weekend.

  1. Last year's archives are good too. I try not to keep any archives over a month. I have been ripped off too many times.

  13. Thanks John. I’d set the camera to manual exposure for that one, about a stop over I think, to try to get some detail. A bit hit and miss to get it right, but he was a willing subject, and kept circling overhead.

Thanks David. So long as it’s dry I won’t mind too much. I just need to get out. :)

Rob, thanks. The background mist helped a lot I think.

Tricia thanks. I love early morning light; it’s just the getting up to get it that’s hard sometimes lol

  17. Great Heron and I adored the picture of the spider's web. There's nothing so pretty as a web on a frosty morning. My early morning dog walking enabled me to catch all that beauty. Sadly no longer.
