A Wildlife Gunslinger.
Warming up here Keith the blackheaded gulls are getting black heads. Bitter today mind even with thermals was frozen. The real cold of last week was bearable this is normal winter and horrible.
It felt a bit milder at first today here Adrian, but it's certainly getting colder now. Gawd knows how some of these birds survive. After I took that picture, found three dead, frozed gulls.
No shortage of gulls keith. Ive run out of meal worms and seed. Am giving them oats suppose it's OK, Blackbirds and Starlings eat them and so do the damn pigeons.
Still jolly cold here too Keith and more snow forecast for tomorrow :(The poor gull looks pretty woebegone and it's not surprising!Loved all the garden bird photos on the previous post particularly the beautiful one of the Starling.
beautiful picture. I do feel so sorry for the animals during this cold snap.
I think the birds are thankful for anything they can get at the moment Adrian. Starlings certainly aint fussy; born survivors lolThanks ShySongbird. That gull never moved while I took a few pictures. He didn't look too good at all.Sara, thank you. Yea, it's heartbreaking seeing them struggling this weather.
Poor bird may be cold very much, but the picture is good from him.
Thanks for your comment Kozma. He must have been very cold; I was, and I had a big coat on. I'll be glad when the warmer weather comes.
LMAO Keith....that face is priceless..giggle snort...looove it - what a great shot!!!I understand you all are having very cold weather there!! We are having spring at the moment!! Where is the cold??? Namaste, Sarah
Hi Keith,Yes I agree with you, make it warmer but I'll add something, warmer and without rain!!! It looks like this gull was cold and I guess you were too! Be brave mate, the spring will soon be there ;-)
Yes Keith, I feel just the same.
...gorgeous, gorgeous. I love the feel of this photo...
Lovely shot Keith.
Thanks Sarah. We could do with some spring weather here soon.Cheers Chris. Cold and rain; no thanks. Just hope it all improves soon. Thanks Bob. A dash of sun would make a welcome relief :)Kelly, thank you. He looked how I felt.Angie, thanks. Managed a few shots before I left him in peace.
My sentiments entirely Keith.
Cheers Roy, I think we've all had enough of this cold weather now. Going on far too long.
I know how the poor gull feels. Hasn't reached +2 all day and thick dark cloud cover.
Had more snow here this morning John, but thankfully it didn't last too long.
It looks like it`s frozen, poor small one. Great expression for this model, Keith! Ha, ha..., you are a portrait photographer now???
That Gull looks fed up Keith!! The cold has eased up a bit here at least during the day...the nights continue to be below normal!! Stay postive it will pass soon enough!!
Thanks Marius. He did look very cold that day. Not sure I'm good enough for portraits just yet though lolDixxe it's been much milder here today too. I hope it keeps that way too, for the sake of all the wildlife.
