Flyers, and impressions.

A mixed bag today. I’ll start with some flyers.

Canada Geese coming in to land.

Canada Geese preparing for take off.

Black-headed Gull in fly by mode

Black-headed Gull in attack?

Male Mallard fly by

Greylag Goose looking very serious

And the last two are of a Crow. He’d found a big ball of fur; probably dog fur someone had left out after grooming the pooch. Anyway, he tugged it, pulled it……….spent ages messing about with it, then turned to look at me, and,

Santa audition?

  6. Yes as Chris said, impressive is the right word for these shots Keith. The spreading wings of the Canada landing and the BH Gull is great with the wing contours. Great one of Joe Crow, who would definitely not come bearing gifts though.{:)

  16. Love the action shots...the head on look at the gull is super!! AND Im still giggling at the Santa Crow-great nesting material--all the nests around here used to be lined with horsehair when I scraped the winter coat off my departed Sundance-

  17. I love the last picture, good capture. I wonder if the Crow was hoping that there might be a bit of meat amongst the fur.
