Just a quickie..........

Just a quick, short post today. I’ve a cardiac clinic meeting later, an interview for another job, at work……something a bit easier, and after that, a sick meeting, (rather ironically), to see how I’m doing, and when I’m coming back to work.
.
So let’s kick off with this one……..
.
.
.
It was just the Robin on the sign that caught my eye. Like he’s thinking, ‘where’s the songbird sign then?
.
And a sign that autumn isn’t very far away………
.

.
Seeds of the Horse Chestnut; or ‘conkers’
..
.
A really pretty day flying moth
.
.
Pyrausta aurata. Not sure if it has a common name.
.
.
This next one does,
.
.
A Common Blue Damselfly
.
.
And to finish on, another commoner…..
.
.
Common Blue butterfly.
.
.
Catch up with you all later.
.

The blue damselfly is my favourite. I hope so with good news you come back to the clinic.

Great shot of the Robin Keith. Perhaps he is the "Duty" songbird for the day and they all take it in turns to perch there. That damselfly is definitely giving you the eye.

Thanks Adrian. Just got a call from the doctors; they want to see me again this afternoon. Hmmmm.

Thank you Kozma. Seems I'll know a bit more later lol

Thank you Roy. Couldn't resist that Robin :)

You always make my day, Keith. Something about all of our feathered and winged friends just seem to be calming....that is, unless it's a screaming crow. They even have their good side.
Best of your day with the check-up. Bill has his eyes checked again today...will pray for both of you.

I hope everything is okay and things go well at your appointment.

It always amazes me how some people can get such wonderful photos of flying insects such as dragonflies or butterflies. They never stay still for me...lol

Great serie, the last one is outstanding! It is very nicely composed, and the non traditionnal cropping is really effective ;)
