Another weekend upon us; they come round so quick. The days must be getting shorter; or I’m getting older.
An early morning scene, a few days ago, from my local lake.
A lovely time of the year.
And a few birds for the weekend,
Blue Tit
Treecreeper
Mrs Pheasant
Nuthatch
Mr. Chaffinch
and a Grey Heron, flying into the morning sun.
Have a great weekend.

I don't think you're getting old, cause that would make me old, and the weekends around here come awful quick too!
:)
I love that first one, especially. :)
Excellent Keith you have certainly got a stunning shot with the image of the Dawn Breaking, like the TreeCreeper to. Yes it is getting colder however,enjoy your weekend
Great set of photos Keith, the morning scene is brilliant.
Thanks Doreen. Early morning mist can really make a place look beautiful. And the best time of the day too ;)
Thank you Kathrin. Glad you enjoyed that one.

What a beautiful scene, the mist sells everything. Really fantastic Blue Tit, Nuthatch, Treecreeper and your favourite, the Pheasant.
This is the time of mystic atmosphere we see in your phantastic first pic. But I love the birds, too. Wish you a nice sunday with a lot of sun. Hugs from Luzia.
Thank you Joanna, glad you like that one. :)
Thanks Wilma. Yea, that was definitely worth getting up early for ;)

Hi Keith...Hope the first half of your weekend has been good to you!!
The misty morning photo draws me into a place of serenity!! "Nice"
I also like cute Mrs.Pheasant and the Grey Heron as he takes flight!!
Keith your not getting older!! Its this fast pace world we live in....people are running here and there so fast they have made the earth turn faster !! ; }
If I say your getting old that means I have to admit I am to!! ; }
Whats with all these "hugs" you keep getting from the ladies??? ; }
Thanks Dixxe. There's a place near here, where people leave seed out for the birds. They have become so used to people over the years, it's possible to get really close to them. The Chaffinch was one of them.
Thanks Grammie. (no hug? lol)
The first picture seems very popular
Lovely shots as always - a great one of the lake especially.
Wow! That first photo is really stunning!!!

Great clear piccy of the Tree Creeper. I keep looking out for one but no joy yet. Maybe not a suitable area for them.
