'D' is for...........

Dragons

A flying dragon. A Migrant Hawker, and the next,

A resting dragon. A Common Darter.

Also, ‘D’ is for,

Deer.

And last ‘D’ for today, is maybe stretching the imagination a little;

Disguise!  A Green Woodpecker, doing his best to disguise himself as a tree.

 Enjoy your day.

  1. I love that resting dragon! ...and kudos to the dragon in flight. I've never caught a dragonfly in flight with the camera. Love the woodpecker in disguise as well--funny!

  2. Brilliant flight shot of the dragon Keith. I have only managed that once and know how difficult and frustrating it is trying to get them in focus.

    Love the crossed stags and the disguised woody.

    Rhudi, thank you for stopping by, and leaving a comment :)

    Thanks John. Those Migrant Hawkers are quite cooperative when they fly; they tend to hover in one place for a while.

    Thank you Bob, glad you enjoyed them.

    Thanks Pescalune. That woodpecker quite often hides on that tree lol

  8. Thanks Grammie. It's a lovely place to see the deer; and all from the public footpath that runs through the park ;)

    Thank you Hilary. That woodpecker always makes me smile when I see him on that tree. I'm sure he thinks he's doing a good job of hiding lol
