Dug these from the archives; back to some sort of normal soon, I hope.
Black-headed Gull
Lesser Black-backed Gull
ICommon Tern
Chiffchaff
No idea which moth this.
And the archives yielded something interesting from my visit to the lakes when I saw Adrian, back in April. I'll sort them out for next time.
Enjoy the rest of the day

Every time I get to your last picture, I am wanting more! Great shots, thanks for pulling them out of your archives. Happy Fourth of July!
Thank you Elizabeth.
Hope you enjoy your special day there :-)
...this is a nice assortment, Keith! I loved the gull taking off--and your new ID photo too! Interesting little moth with is long snout and his half-missing antenna. The goslings and swans in the earlier post were adorable--must have been fun to watch them.
Nice title I should refrain from wishing I'd had one.........Great shots as always. Get back on full song soon.
your opening line sounded like the beginning to a joke...all you needed was "walk into a bar" at the end. :)
those are great shots!
thanks for your sweet comment on my blog this morning! :)
Thanks Kelly. I've no idea what the moth is called, but it's tiny. :-)
Hope the ID picture didn't scare ya too much lol
Thanks Adrian. I'll get there soon. A bit like wading through treacle at the moment though. I need another break ;-)
texwis, you should be partying! lol
Have a great day.
Great shots!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Fine photos as always. I can't say I've ever seen a black headed gull. Well I guess I can now. ;)
Thanks Gary :-)
Thanks Hilary. They're quite common here, very noisy at times, but I love 'em ;-)

A little different that one, I thought :-)
A lovely selection from the archives Keith. The Tern almost looks like it's hitched a lift :) and a very unusual shot of the moth!

Thank you Grace. The moth was a quick grab shot, and came out better than I hoped. I guess today is a big day over there.
