Staring Saturday

As much as I dislike these Grey Squirrels, for destroying my feeders at my local lake, even I have to admit they can turn the cuteness on at times.

Have a good weekend

They are just surviving and making the best in a globalized environment... Some folk seem to take a mighty exception to this activity. Maybe a human cull will address the root cause huh?

Oh, that's adorable! My dad had an ongoing battle with squirrels for years; I learned that you can't win. Yet I still try to keep them out of the bird feeders with very little success.

He's a cutie. After holding squirrel babies in the palm of my hand, I'm forever in awe of their sweetness.

Oh My...you are so dang right. They are cute but are so destructive to bird feeders.
Cute pic of the rascal!

Debbie, not a bad idea :-)

Rohrerbot, thank you.

JoLynne, thank you.

Thanks Linda. Chilli Powder sprinkled on the feeder contents seems to work.

Thanks Hilary.

Thank you Gail.

Thanks Jean.

thing with grey squirrels is they probably are most peoples experience of a wild mammal and they do, like mallards, turn urban people on to wildlife. nice pic as well.

Cheers Pete. Yea, such a shame that it has to be a grey one for the masses though.
