Looking back

Today the weather has been a bit iffy. Snow flurries this morning, and quite cold; although the snow didn't amount to much. I spent most of the day sorting out some pictures from last year. Still got a few to process yet, (actually a lot. I'm crap at this lark),  a job I don't like much, but here's a few I've done so far.

Small Copper

Meadow Brown

Red Admiral

Silver-washed Fritilary

and the wonderfully named, Bloody-nosed Beetle

Hopefully next time some more recent ones.

Have a good weekend, what's left of it.

  4. Great butterfly shots Keith.
It does get tedious sorting out images some times.
Looking forward to your Expedition images with Trevor.

  6. Sorting images...urgh!..not the best job in the world, it sometimes makes me ask "why did I take that many photos and why of that subject?"

You've managed to find some excellent ones here though, especially the Small Copper, I don't think I've yet managed to get one with it's wings open!!...[;o)

  11. The weather here today was like spring with 80 degrees, so these gorgeous butterflies make me think even more that Spring is right around the corner!

  15. Really beautiful photos Keith and it was spotting this post last night which gave me renewed confidence to go ahead with my post, I honestly thought I had left it too late to post my 'leftovers' so thank you for giving me the impetus ;-)

That beetle is a very handsome fellow :-)
