  3. That's a brilliant image Keith, with the angry skies and crashing waves the lighthouse actually looks quite vulnerable, that beach looks very bird friendly too without too many people on it.

  8. Thanks Theresa. It was an interesting day with the weather. It changed so often, and so quick.

It certainly is Trevor. Only saw 2 people all morning. :-)

Cheers Doug. One of my favourite places to visit. Sand dunes face the beach, and there's always a wealth of birds. Snow Bunting, at right time of year, Meadow Pipits, Wheatear, Linnit, hunting Kestrel, Oystercatchers, Curlew, Danderling; to name just a few.

Thanks Chris. It can be a great time of the year.

Thank you Sondra. It's very popular in the tourist season.

Thank you Wilma. Yea, it's a lovely place.

Thanks Adrian. The light in the morning was stunning. I was going to post a few other shots but the Bells were ringing. Maybe another post.

Thank you Grace. In summer, when the sun decides to shine, the beach is packed with noisy people. I always visit early in the morning, before most of them get up.

  10. HI Keith This looks a lovely place (without people!) and I see you say there are quite a variety of birds there which is great also. NOw this shot is brilliant. the light in it is fabulous as it illuminates the clouds, hits the roll of the waves and comes down one side of the lighthouse. It is all very well balanced with the darkness on one part of the sand at the water's edge. I would like to see more please.

Certainly is Roy. Now we need to get rid of weekends lol

Thanks Margaret. The lighting that morning was amazing. I've got a few other pictures I took, so I'll try and get round to posting them.

Thank you Robin. Very pleased with this one.
