Up up and away

No, not me unfortunately. Just a few flight shots.

Proper flight shots though can be found here, at Dougs blog.

Brent Geese

Little Egret

Mute Swan

Greylag Geese

Have a great weekend and keep warm

  1. oh, these are great! love both types of geese. really like that little egret shot (so much like our snowy egret). very nice, keith!

  2. its not easy doing flight photos and you have done very well

  3. Far better than I usually manage Keith. Light intensity is getting iffy for fast enough movement shots now.

  4. I find it very difficult to get a decent image of a bird in flight. You've done a wonderful job with these. I especially love that egret.

  5. The swan and the Greylag are beautiful.
Douglas is the master of this genre. He must have muscles on his muscles.

  6. Thank you Theresa. :-)

    Thanks Andrew.

    Peter, thank you.

Thanks John. Sunny here this morning, and not a decent shot to show for it. lol

    Thanks Robin.

Hilary, thank you. It's good to practice with them. I'll get better. :-)

Cheers Adrian. Yea, he certainly takes a good one.

  7. Not much wrong with these flight shots Keith, I especially liked the Little Egret and the geese

  8. Lovely flight shots Keith. I guess the Brent must be at Titchwell by now.

  9. Cheers Roy. These Brent were taken at Freiston. They've been at Frampton for a couple of weeks, so I guess they're at Titchwell too. Lovely geese.

  10. Very good effort, Keith. Birds in flight are never easy subjects.

  11. Excellent flight shots Keith, the Greylag and the Egret are the ones that stand out for me...[;o)

  12. Choy Wai, thank you. Yes, hard at times, but always good to try :-)

    Cheers Trev.

  13. Great shots - I love the freedom of these flying birds - and I love the freedom that digital gives us to take more than one shot of these things!

    Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne

  14. Cheers Stewart.
Trouble is, with digital, I always seem to take too many pictures lol
