  1. HI Keith Just yetsterday I was wondering how you were and looked up all 3 of your blogs and discover you had not written any in quite a number of weeks so it is great that you are now in Wales and seem to be in good form and enjoying Wales. I have not had time, as yet to watch all the video etc as I am taking my bird class out this morning and am not dressed yet! Will look at your post this evening and comment then.

  2. Great set of images - I like the Sparrowhawk with lunch - any day with a bird of prey is a good day!

    2. I'm OK with short words Adrian; place names still have me guessing.

  4. Thanks Margaret. Yea, it's good here, although the internet can be sporadic at times.

Thank you Stewart; they're great birds to watch aren't they.

Cheers Adrian. I've been trying to post for a few days now, finally made it today. The scenery is stunning at the moment with the autumn leaves.

  10. Wonderful.. as your posts always are. The wildlife you capture is incredible.. and that little vole face adorable. But it's the scenery that has captivated me, here. Just beautiful.

  12. That first image is a real cracker Keith,,,there must be a photo competition somewhere for you to enter it into?...a winner for sure.

You're certainly getting to see a great selection of birds (and some lovely scenes) on your Welsh travels...[;o)

  15. Thanks Doug. There's some great birds to be seen here. I'd rate it better than the east coast.

Wilma thank you. Wales has everything I could possibly ask for.

Thank you Theresa. The scenery is stunning here, and with the variety of wildlife, it is all perfect. A shame I have to go home soon.

Thanks Arija. I think a bit of video now and then can make a big difference. It's finding the right balance in length.

Dale, thanks. Yea, my blogging has taken a back seat recently; even more so when I'm here. Hope you enjoy the videos.

Thanks Hilary, glad you enjoy the posts. I should make an effort, and do more at times. The little voles are fascinating to watch, and can be quite bold at times.

Thanks Bob. I was lucky to catch that Sparrowhawk feeding.

Cheers Trevor. I was chuffed with that first image. Poured with rain shortly after I took it. Maybe I should make the effort and punt a few images around.
I think October is definitely the most photogenic month here. Some great places just up the road from here, but impossible to stop a car and admire the view.

Peter, thank you. Glad you enjoyed the selections.

Thanks Roy. This place seems to have everything. I'm very lucky.

  16. Hi Keith WOW! What a wonderful collection of still and video clips. Stunning landscape shot at the beginning. Love the shot of the Bank Vole and video. You seem to be back on tract again which is good news. Again I saw, maybe you should live in Wales, it certainly seems to be where your heart is.

Hope you had a great time.

Thank you Petra. Always more to be longed for. It's what keeps me going :-)

Thank you John. It is stunning here, but the camera sometimes fails to capture the beauty that the eye sees.

Thanks Sondra. Every minute here is a joy. :-)
