North Wales

Had some great outings while I was in Wales, so here's a selection.

Whisky and his two brothers; Thistle on the left, Obi on the right.

Red Campion

Sandwich Tern

Little Tern

Mediterranean Gull

Red Squirrel

A pair of  Buff-tip moths enjoying a sunny day; and each other.

Mouse-ear Hawkweed

Sheep's Bit

Broad-bodied Chaser

and I'll end with one of Whisky.

Enjoy your week

  1. Whisky looks very mature now.
What a brilliant photo of the red squirrel. Of course we only have scruffy grey ones round here.

  9. Thanks John. Whisky has really grown up now; but still full of fun and energy.

Peter, thanks. The three boys really enjoy each others company. Great to see them all get on so well. Before I left, there were six there, counting Whisky.

Thanks Wilma. Yea, it's a place I love to visit. Always something to see and the weather this visit couldn't have been better.

Thanks Trev. It took a few shots to get a handful worth keeping of the flight shots. The bin was heavy with rubbish.

Phyllis, thank you. Glad you enjoyed them.

Cheers Adrian. I spent quite a time photographing the squirrels. Hadn't seen reds for years.

Sondra, thank you. Whisky steals the show wherever we go. :-)

Thank you Pete. The red squirrel was on Anglesey. Found a great place to see them near Newborough.
